ESOL for Buckinghamshire Residents
ESOL Courses in Buckinghamshire, Fully Funded
Improve your English and boost your career prospects with fully funded ESOL courses, funded by Buckinghamshire Council under the Adult Skills Fund for residents of Buckinghamshire aged 19 and over.
Who can apply
You may be eligible if you are aged 19 or over and either unemployed and actively seeking work, or employed and earning less than £26,800 per year. You must have the right to live and work in the UK. Some exemptions to residency requirements apply; call our team on 020 8748 9898 to check your eligibility.
About the course
Our online ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses run from Entry 2 to Level 2 and lead to an accredited City & Guilds certificate in Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing. The course content is built around the language skills employers actually look for, so what you learn is directly useful when applying for jobs. New courses start every Monday and run for approximately 15 weeks.
Support to find work
Alongside your studies, you'll have access to our Jobsearch team and qualified IAG advisers, who will help you plan your next steps and search for roles both during and after your course. We work closely with employers across Buckinghamshire, particularly in hospitality and health and social care, so there are real opportunities to move into a job or further training once you've completed your course.
